BioGRAPHY
A co-founder of the firm, G. Taylor Wilson has represented a wide variety of individuals and companies in complex civil litigation in federal and state courts around the country. Taylor’s practice focuses on defamation, fiduciary litigation, business litigation, personal injury, and consumer protection actions.
Unwarranted attacks on an individual’s or company’s reputation demand a sharp response, and Taylor has a proven track record of success advocating for and protecting his clients’ reputations in both private and high-profile disputes. Based in Atlanta but representing clients throughout the country, Taylor’s reputation management practice is full-service, routinely advising clients during the request-for-comment stage, in obtaining corrections and retractions, and when necessary through all stages of litigation. Focusing his practice on defamation for the past eight years, Taylor brings a wealth of experience and perspective to each unique engagement following numerous disputes with national, regional, and local media outlets, as well as defamation occurring in private settings. Taylor’s case work has included claims against individual journalists, the tabloid media, and many of the largest mainstream media organizations, such as CNN, CBS, NBC, The Washington Post, and Associated Press.
Taylor’s experience in fiduciary litigation extends to trusts and estates as well as the business context. He has represented both beneficiaries and fiduciaries in equitable and monetary proceedings, as well as businesses and individuals in variety of contract and tort litigation. He has successfully litigated restrictive covenant disputes and claims for false advertising, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, conversion, and unfair competition.
Taylor also has experience in the consumer and personal injury space, litigating class claims for telemarketing violations as well as individual claims for physical injuries in a variety of contexts.
No matter the type of dispute, Taylor’s goal remains the same: to provide practical but creative advice to efficiently achieve the client’s objectives.
Taylor received his banking and finance degree from UGA’s Terry College of Business and graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2014. He is admitted to practice in Georgia, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 11th and 2nd Circuits.
